Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Contains photographs of the following military units and organizations: 13th Regiment, United States (U.S.) Engineers. General description of the collection: The Edward Nestel photograph collection contains one relatively small photo album. The front portion of it shows various scenes of activities and encampments of the 13th Engineers in numerous locations in Virginia and West Virginia from 1930 to 1932. The remainder of the album shows scenes of ships, locks, housing, facilities, gun emplacements etc. in the Panama Canal Zone in 1932 and 1933. There are also several photos of Odd Fellows lodge groups and activities in the Canal Zone in this period.
